I'm Dat Vo Dinh (Võ Đình Đạt), a founder-engineer based in Hanoi, Vietnam. I build AI infrastructure, data platforms and AI agent products, and this blog is where I write about machine learning and the ideas behind it.
What I'm building
- Thinkmay: a Vercel-like cloud for vibe coders. Your own server, a coding agent on your repo, and one click from idea to live app.
- Mindpal: working on the AI agent platform end to end, with a team shipping agent workflows for real teams.
- Two stealth startups: one at the seam of AI infrastructure and data platforms, which I have been building since 2024, and one crafting AI for film VFX.
Background
- B.Sc. in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (2021–2025). My thesis, a big-data pipeline for ingesting and retrieving multimodal data at scale, received the Best Presentation Award at its defense.
- Author of RAG Chatbot, an open-source, fully local chatbot for your documents with 600+ GitHub stars. I also contributed its Ollama integration to the Ollama repository and fixed a hybrid retrieval bug in LlamaIndex.
- Built UChat, an agentic chatbot that answers enrollment and degree-program questions for students of the University of Languages and International Studies (ULIS).
- Before that, a machine learning engineer working on deep reinforcement learning (2022–2023).
